Question by Xtina: I’m writing an ebook on how to make money online…. will it sell? Basically I’m writing a guide to how people can make an honest, reasonable income online. I’m not trying to scam anyone, I’m providing real, tested advice on how to make money. I’m also considering including a product along with the guide that the customer can sell as a start up to get going. I’m not sure yet how long the guide will be, I’m in the process of writing it. But it will be much more than just a list of websites- it’s going to read like a book, be well written and provide numerous different ideas, from the incredibly creative to the cut and dry. The product I include (also not sure what yet) will be something easy to sell that they can definitely profit from. I’ll buy wholesale so I can make a little money off it too. Question is, would people buy this? For how much? I don’t want the price to be outrageous, but I do want to make some money off it. I like the idea of a product along with the ebook but it would have to be something out of the ordinary and either have a proven track record, a growing market, with proof provided by you, or be so new I would feel at the start of something big. Not easy I would think. Price? Why not take a look at clickbank to see what comparable books are going for. People will pay for good value information but if you are intending to use a marketplace like clickbank it’s the affiliates you will need to impress. They will find the sales for you. The free support may well be expected by a paying customer. And six months may not be a sweetener. It doesn’t sound much. Probably writing more books or offering more in depth e courses would appear better to your customers. Also if you think your idea is a winner I’d be tempted to build a website around it and look to make money from Ads. Adsense, infolinks and the like while providing the information at no cost.
